If you find yourself wandering the charming streets of Kelowna, make sure to stop by Bread Co, a delightful café on Dolphin Avenue that promises a cozy and inviting atmosphere. This isn’t just a spot to grab a quick cup of coffee; it’s a haven for both casual diners and serious food lovers alike.

Specializing in handmade, made-to-order hot sandwiches and an array of refreshing beverages, Bread Co offers a menu that is as exciting as it is flavorful. Imagine sinking your teeth into their signature Pesto Chicken Sandwich, where succulent chicken mingles with aromatic pesto mayo, earthy mushrooms, and fresh tomatoes all cradled in crispy ciabatta—each bite is pure bliss. Alternatively, the Cuban Pulled Pork sandwich showcases tender pulled pork, savory ham, and Swiss cheese, enriched with zingy mustard and a touch of garlic aioli that will transport your taste buds straight to the streets of Havana.

Don’t miss their enticing range of cold brews—especially the Salted Caramel Macchiato Cold Brew, a luxurious blend that combines the smoothness of coffee with a sweet, nostalgic twist. It’s the kind of drink that wraps you in warmth on a chilly day or refreshes you during the scorching summer heat.

The atmosphere at Bread Co is equally impressive. Local reviews speak to the warmth of the staff, with barista Yui receiving a special mention for her exceptional hospitality that turns first-timers into regulars. As you savor your drink or lovely, house-made sweet treats like their famed mint brownies, you’ll appreciate the café's community-oriented vibe that makes it a local treasure.

In terms of layout, the café is designed for both quick visits and long study sessions. Holly Clarke, a dedicated patron, calls it her favorite study/work space, appreciating the inviting ambiance that inspires productivity while enjoying delicious sips of iced vanilla lattes.

However, keep in mind that Bread Co is still growing and sometimes their delightful sourdough bread runs out by the afternoon, as noted by some guests who wish to savor it. But that’s part of the charm—each visit feels special, as if you're part of something exclusive, seasonal, and utterly local.

With a friendly staff, a warm atmosphere, and a mouthwatering menu, Bread Co is not just another café; it’s a gathering spot where delicious food meets community spirit. Whether you stop by for a quick lunch, an indulgent treat, or a cozy workspace, you’re bound to leave with a smile and perhaps a new favorite lunch spot in Kelowna.

The mint brownies from BreadCo are absolutely incredible! Each bite offers a perfect balance of rich, fudgy chocolate and refreshing mint. The texture is wonderfully dense and moist, making them a decadent treat. The mint layer adds a delightful burst of flavor without overpowering the chocolate. Highly recommended for the after eight crowd!

Listen, I consider myself a soup connoisseur—a broth enthusiast, if you will. But the Wicked Thai Soup at Bread Co.? This is next-level. This isn’t just soup; it’s a warm hug from the universe. It’s the edible equivalent of finding $20 in your pocket on laundry day. The rich, creamy coconut broth? A masterpiece. The perfect blend of spice? Just the right amount to make you question your life choices but in the best way. The chicken and rice? Perfectly balanced, like a soup-based symphony. Honestly, I’d fight a bear for this soup. If you told me I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, I’d say, “Hand me a spoon.” It’s wicked, it’s Thai, and it’s pure magic. Whoever created this deserves a raise, a trophy, and maybe a national holiday.

Love having this new location close to my workplace! Seems like they don’t have as much product as the other location. I went for a sourdough bread and they were already out of the in the afternoon.

Went in for my first time as I work in the office tower beside here. I am now a regular I come in and always greeted with a smile by the barista Yui. I come so often she has my order memorized it’s a fantastic show of customer service and exceptional hospitality. Can’t wait to go back next week for my regular order thank you Yui!

My favourite iced sf vanilla latte in Kelowna. Great study/work space. Lovely staff!! Pain that you get ticketed after 3hrs of parking though! - landmark location
